Probably you need to do some literature reviews on historical development of feng shui knowledge. However, it also very limited source.

“Destroying the Barbarians” was being done during Tang Dynasty, which approximately the renaissance and emerging new political power in middle east - Islam under Muhammad and Caliphs.... This was the first time major destruction being done by Royal family(Race of Han 汉族) onto feng shui knowledge.
However, there was another wave of feng shui knowledge destruction done during Qing Dynasty from 1644 - 1911. However, this time was done by lay people (Race of Han 汉族) to stop the Royal Family (Manchu 满清) from getting this powerful strategic knowleadge and know-how.

Therefore, those feng shui formula, inclusive xuan kong flying stars which was developed during this time...

Thank You

Interesting.
You also seem to think that Ba Zhai (the guiding light to the eight mansions) is fake Feng Shui.
Do you think that this book is the real "Destroying the Barbarians" classic, too?
