BANK Negara Malaysia hinted recently that Malaysia’s economy can grow at a faster pace than the 4.5 per cent to 5.5 per cent forecast earlier. Economists have been pointing to an improvement in economic activities in the first three months of this year, led by exports and other indicators, saying GDP will likely surpass the 4.5 per cent growth in the last quarter.
On the weak Greek economy and delay in its rescue package affecting Euro zone and spreading to other markets, however, the report said there will be some volatility expected but it should not destabilize the financial markets.
No doubt Ringgit Malaysia is getting stronger recently. Interestingly, the Malaysian government always amplifies the positive side ONLY.
BUT, I have a different opinion. I had predicted in Feb 2010 that, Malaysia economy in May is getting better but NOT for the best.
Because this month is a Malayan Tiger running in the water pond.(please refer to the picture) Comparatively this month is slightly better than the previous month, which the MALAYAN tiger was swimming in the pond.
However, a tiger in the pond means he is NOT yet ready to hunt for his prey (victim for food). Metaphysically, the prey and victim refer to the positive economic performance or gain. Nevertheless, he is approaching to the dry land for his prey (food) for next period.
The pictures and table speak for thousands words.
