Din Tai Fung Restaurant – Feng ShuiDin Tai Fung 鼎泰丰 is an award-winning restaurant of Taiwanese origin, specializing in Xiaolongbao 小笼包 (small steamed buns, marketed as “dumplings” in the West). Outside its native Taiwan, Din Tai Fung also has its restaurant chains in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, and the United States. Din Tai Fung famous with their 18 packs and 21 grams dumplings, it is high popularity at home Taiwan and abroad, their Xing Yi flagship shop always attract long queues pilgrims for their dumplings, it create the legend of extraordinary. Founder Bingyi Yang was born in Shanxi, China but moved to Taiwan in 1948 as a result of the Chinese civil war. After working 10 years at Heng Tai Fung, a cooking oil retailer, he found himself unemployed due the store’s closing. Thus, he and his wife, Penmei Lai, founded Din Tai Fung (also a cooking oil retailer) in 1958. Around 1980, tinned cooking oil became prevalent, and business diminished drastically. In order to survive, Bingyi Yang and his wife began making and selling steamed buns (xiaolongbao 小笼包) on the side. The buns were so popular that the store stopped selling oil and became a full-fledged restaurant in the 1980s. The original restaurant was located on Xinyi Road in Taipei City. In addition to the dumplings, Ding Tai Fung’s also known for their chicken soup and their seaweed, bean sprouts and mung bean noodle appetizers.
The business is so good until you need to Q-up for lunch or dinner as showed in the pictures. Since the business is so good internationally, it is beneficial for us to find out what kind of feng shui does contribute to this outcome. However, the moment I visited this place is about 4:30PM, so there is no Q-up. After taking the facing reading, the survey showed that this building is located at a road interchange from 3 directions. (Refer to Google Earth) About at certain degree, there is road from the opposite direction. The survey found that although there are a few shops at the same row share the same “ direction”, nevertheless, they never the same auspicious feng shui as Din Tai Fung 鼎泰丰 . The shoe shop on the right and the book store on the left is not as good as Din Tai Fung 鼎泰丰. From here, it is showing you clearly that, “direction” alone does not assure you good feng shui. Can door tilting according to Xuan Kong Da Gua 玄空大卦 can assure the shoe shop’s business as good as Din Tai Fung 鼎泰丰?

Please e-mail info@orientalwisdom.com.my for any other information. |
