Should South West Sector Must Have Water As Claimed by Flying Star?

In feng shui field, you would find that flying star method is the most popular school of thought. It is popular due to couple of reasons. One of the reason is because this method is numerically oriented, fixing the western education background and system. Secondly, it is “believed” that flying stars method is the most reliable for accuracy and diagnosis.

However, in the actual fact, it is NOT TRUE. Today, I am not going to discuss the validity of this system from my experience and feedback from my clients who had suffered in some extends from using flying stars method prior and before getting my advice. On the contrary, I prefer to discuss something which is objective and measurable.

The picture above is Penang Island on the left hand side and Seberang Prai (formerly known as Province Wellesley). These two lands are connected with Penang Bridge (the line in the middle). Please pay attention to the direction indicator at the bottom left. The river, Perai River flows from NE to the sea at SW. The width of the Perai River is approximately 200 feet.

Now, please refer to the second picture. Comparatively, Penang Island is more prosper. I segregate the island into eight sectors. From year 2002 or 2003 onwards, we have witnessed a special development at certain area in Penang Island which mostly concentrated in the East sector as I drew. The East sector covers Gelogor, Batu Uban, Jelutong, Jelutong Expressway and etc.

My points are:

1. Under Period 8 (2004 – 2023), some flying stars sects proposed that the NE MUST NOT have water, and, SW would prosper with water. In actual fact, SW in Penang Island is a hilly area and not much space for development. At NE (George Town, Pulau Tikus) is having sea water, but very prosper. This flying star sect’s theory is against the actual fact. If you stay in a condominium at Tanjung Bunga, most of the units are exposed to the sea view at NE. Are telling me those units would cause misfortunes? Please think about it.
2. Surprisingly, some flying sects suggested that the NE MUST have water, otherwise, misfortune would come. In actual fact, most of the residential units which is away from the sea shore do not have any water feature at NE. Are you telling me that if there is no water at NE sector, the occupant would become poorer and poorer?
3. The development of Penang since 2002/2003 is very much focuses on East Sector as I drew, especially along Jelutong Expressway and the coastal area within East sector. Now, you can see very clearly that two different opinions within flying stars method DO NOT explain the eastern coast development at all. What they propose on either SW or NE does not portrait the reality.

I have witnessed many businessmen consulted flying star master and unfortunately they were disappointed by the promises of flying stars, like double 8, water feature at SW etc.

Personally speaking, I don’t against flying stars method. In the reality, I do use flying star as well. But, my application, conception and interpretation is very much different from the common understanding. If, you command Yijing 易经 correctly, you would have an Insight and Inspiration of TRUE and REAL flying stars！

我目睹了许多商人征求飞星派风水，但很不幸的是他们在飞星的承诺上如双吉8星在前与后，飞星西南水法等等.感到失望！以我个人来讲，我并不反对飞星的方法。在现实中我也经常使用它。但是我的应用，概念和解释是非常不同于市场上的解释。如果您正确套用易经在飞星上，您将可以洞察和有不同的启示！
