Avoid Negative Energy at the Main Door or Balcony

Piercing Sha

Diagram 1 shows the piercing Sha (negative energy) right in front of the main door. Any other form of “Pointy” roofs across the street is considered as piercing Sha. How do you confirm if that is piercing sha at your main door (balcony opening)?

The following are the basic guidelines on how to determine the piercing sha:-

  1. You ARE facing piercing sha if the sharp object is directly in front of the main door, across the street. The sharp object must be visible at eye level between two vertical frames of either side of the main door (balcony opening).
  2. You are NOT facing piercing sha if the pitch roof is higher and above the level of the door frame (balcony opening frame) at the house where you are standing and looking out from. That is nothing to worry about. It is only a piercing sha if it is within the door frame when view at eye level.

Sharp Corner Sha

I am referring to those sharp corners that can be seen from the eye sight coverage horizon, when you are standing inside of the house and looking out. If the sharp corner is situated within the door frame (balcony door frame) across the street, this is considered as sharp corner negative energy. However, it is NOT a Sha if the sharp corner is located out of the door frame.

Traditionally, it is highly advisable to avoid this kind of property. However, if you are already living in such a place under this situation, you can plant a barrier of trees to shield the Sha Qi from penetrating. Feng shui items hanging like Bagua DOES NOT help a lot.

T–Junction Sha

As shown in diagram 3, if the main door faces the hard end of a T-Junction, this is a major feng shui problem. If the actual road of the T-Junction is captured within the door frame as you look out from the house, it means you are encountering T –Junction sha.

There is remedy for this kind of case. You can put up a shielding wall or plant some trees. However, this is probably not going to bring relief if the traffic volume is heavy. On the contrary, if the traffic is light, this may not be a problem, since the Sha Qi is not moving at any real speed. If the T-Junction is out of the door frame, there is less negative effect. The above remedy should take care of it.

Physical Obstruction Sha

If there is a tree trunk or lamp pole across or in front of the main door but outside the door frame eye sight coverage, it is still fine. However, it is a disaster if there is a lamp post, telephone pole or tree trunk standing in the center across the doorway and within the door frame. The most effective remedy is to change the main door.
